New York City FC unveiled their inaugural jersey on Thursday morning at an event held at a local New York City midtown establishment (video above).

The primary jersey, decked in «City Blue,» features the NYCFC word mark on the inside neck tape. The back neck will have NYCFC print, and there is also an «Inaugural Season» tag on the lower left corner of the jersey.

Across the front of the shirt is jersey sponsor Etihad Airways, which announced a five-year partnership with the club.

Hope this video helped! In some jerseys its very easy to distinguish the difference, however there are some that are hard to tell. These were the main signs I thought were the most efficient way to know a jersey is fake.
The determining factors:
1-Logos & patches
-Fake: Distorted coloration
Rubbery feel
Hints of peeling
Crooked letters or numbering/both
2-Fabrics & Material
-Fake: Inferior material
Coloration brighter or darker than the original
Size is bigger and wider
3-Stiches & Embroidery
-Fake: Irregular stitches
Wider space between stitches
4-Tags & Labels
-Fake: Do not match with original one
