Why is Martin Odegaard GOOD all of a sudden??

Martin Ødegaard was known by football fans the world over when he moved to Real Madrid aged 16 and was tipped as the next big thing. But he then just seemed to disappear off the radar before popping back up at Arsenal where he’s been one of the best midfielders in the league. So how did he get so good? Was he always this good? Join me for a story on how this boy wonder joined such a prestigious team, flopped, then reinvented himself out of the limelight, eventually picking himself back up off the floor and coming back with a vengeance to finally fulfil some of his early promise.

  1. I was not expecting you to have 500 subs, that was such an entertaining video! hope you're gonna make more, ill be tuning in definitely!

  2. First of all he has Never EVER been a bad footballer and trust me its hard to say as a Swede but since he plays for Arsenal he gets a pass 😉 He has been an amazing talent since day 1 its just that Zidane didnt like that Real signed him without him having a say in it and thats one of the reasons he never really got the chance in Real and when i heard that Arsenal was gunning for Martin i thought there is no way in hell we will be able to sign him but then hell froze over somehow and he signed and i have been stoked ever since.

  3. Madrid didnt use no 10 thats why he struggling so much there and of course they have modric and kross while at arsenal he basically target passing from CB or DM

  4. As a neutral, I hope he get away from Arsenal and how the fan base treats him. He is arguable one of the top 3 mids in prem, yet Arsenal fans shits on him. Just look at Lee Gunner. He should join another team asap

  5. And here he is, signing a new 5-year contract. 📝🎉 Good video, btw, apart from the 'bottling' part; nothing you can do with a thin squad when your best CB gets injured, and when VAR 'forgets' to draw the lines (plus a handful of other 'mistakes' that they later apologised for). 😉

  6. What the future holds is Odegaard becoming a genuine Arsenal legend. Then when he want to go to real it’s gonna cost them a cool 2-300m. All arsenal need to do is tie him down to a long term contract and we’ll be laughing all the way the the bank and the Prem. Hopefully both.

  7. He has not shown himself to be so good against great midfield players in great teams like Man City.
    He can disappear in games.
Likely why he didn’t make it with Real Madrid.
It’s about confidence to get physically stuck in with intelligence and the commitment to get a job done.
    Good luck to him.

  8. Yes, I did enjoy this video and therefore I drop you a like ;).
A funny side note. During the last week, Ødegaard has been trying to prevent history from repeating itself. Not for him, but for Norway's new hot shot Antonio Nusa. Ødegaard and Haaland are probably coaching him in career choices. Check out yesterday's match between Norway and Georgia.

  9. Its funny how everyone forgets about the atleast 12 points of very dodgy VAR against Arsenal before Xmas. Almost as if it was set up for Arsenal too so call bottle it, oh the drama it couldn't havve been written, or was it? Besides that sour point of mine Odegaard has been solid and is worthy of being Captain and thanks to your video Im suddenly aware his early football career, and it all makes a bit more sense, his calmness, ability, finishing, experience before his age, everything, very happy he joined the Gunners and hope he does become part of something special.

  10. I did find it interesting where I could decipher the parts whenever the background music dropped in volume. Why on earth such a piece could be interesting about an interesting player, from beginning to end is crowded out by overly loud music, I don't know. I hope you understand my annoyance. And red on black graphics was too.
