24. I have mentioned this once before. I can't see Maguire leaving Utd before his up coming Court case in Greece next February. Having the cache of being an England International and Utd's Club Captain will (in his own mind) help his case. Don't forget he has already been convicted, so he will need all the help he can get

34. McFred have suffered from the fact that both of them are attacking midfielders who have had to play defensive roles for Utd. I think that McTominay was a CAM in the Man Utd youth, plays advanced for Scotland too, or at least has license to get forward (where he gets his goals from), Fred was an attacking midfielder for Shakhtar. They are both really good in that role, but they wouldn't displace Fernandes. So sell and buy some players who actually fit the middle of the park role.

I would keep Lindelof if he's willing to continue being a backup and move Fred on though. Fred's turned 30 and his contract expires next Summer. If there's interest in him, get rid!

47. Amazing how little knowledge some of these dudes have. It's, hardly about transfer fees – it is all about salary – certainly until the amortisation structure changes with UEFA. De Gea is on 400k per week with bonus, Onana, Raya or D Costa would be on half that. Then it's about selling off salaried ''dead wood'' (Maguire, Fred, Henderson, Martial, Donny, Bailly, Telles). Then loan off wagebilll the likes of (Greenwood, Amad, Elanga, Pellestri, Williams etc). Then promote youth on low wages – (Jurado, Alvaro, Mainoo, Kimbawala, Kovar, etc). That will free up over 150m to add to the 125m kittie. Then you sign Mount, Onana and Kane – anything left maybe Disassi or a good international loan CB (Upemecano, Kimpembe, Inago, etc). I'd do a better job than Glazer yes man Murtough.

49. Lindelof deserves to stay as back up. Of all the negative things I've heard about Sancho it's funny the one thing nobody mentions is that he hasn't got heart, gone with no second thought. Fred is quite possibly the worst midfielder in the PL, he consistently does the most brain dead things like trying to read a simple pass and getting skipped by and leaving the back four exposed, I don't know how he is still a United player, I'd keep McTominay over him. De Gea would be gone already but for the fact no one wants to buy him, given a stupid wage and now we're stuck with him unfortunately.
