33. As an Asian woman myself, I have faced two harassment in NYC. One was around my college when I was waiting for a bus around 7:30 am. One white guy came to me and said, hey miss, I'm hungry. Only he and I were on that street at that moment; he was definitely much bigger than me. But I was not frightened and just ignored him. He shouted to me the same thing twice again, louder and louder. Anyway, I just played deaf. Then he went away.

The man in the video being beaten was NOT Asian, he was a intoxicated Hispanic and he atatcked and sucker punched the balck man first while calling him the n word prior to the video! NYPD cleared the balck man of charges. There was no Asian hate crime and this video went viral after right-wing blog on twitter took this clip off Tim tok and deceptively edited it. The witness who recorded th video ajd the bystanders all said I the full video the Hispanic man called him the n word and sucke rlunche chi. First snd that was edited out of the full video. Numeorus new Apolgues issues retractions and apologies for the misreporting. If cnbc dint knkw the facts they never should have ran this segment.
