  1. They did him dirty again. Not as bad as the first time but all he wanted to do was continue playing at the top level so he could be in good shape for the world cup. After he would've left for free. Barça never appreciated Alves commitment and love for the club. That's why he left the last time after being made a scapegoat by the media for the team's defensive struggles he was forced out by the management

  2. Honestly speaking I would of liked to see him leave on his own terms, I give him that, but we cannot compare him to bouquets, alba, Pique? Because while others clubs came calling financial troubles etc these guys stayed and grind through the troubles of Barcelona highs and lows, he left for other clubs, so loyalty aspects and money is out the door, what would make his point valid and look double standards? Is if Barcelona brings back Messi in the future hmmmmmh, who didn't stay through the trouble years and coming back to a team formed and looking good, it's unfair to a player who there and has to now be benched for someone who abandoned his team no matter what the money was, if you are loyal? Money has no place in it like what Dani alves was suggesting, my humble opinion.

  3. The way Sandro Rosell (Who was the president at the time) and his board treated Pep Guardiola in his last season at Barca is the genesis of all this. Dani Alves and Victor Valdes talked about how Sandro rosell disrespected Pep and Pep decided to leave. Pep still hates Sandro rosell and Bartomeu to date and rightfully so.

  4. I used to be the biggest Barcelona fan but after realising how ungrateful they are to their players i stopped supporting them. Madrid is no better, to two most disrespectful Clubs in the world

  5. If they could part ways with Messi the way they did, then nobody's safe! There's a new sheriff in town! And he doesn't give a f**k about your previous service to the club! ?

  6. Barcelona couldn't even afford to buy the guy some cake and a coke for his farewell. But they are making these audacious signings when the water bill and electric bills haven't been paid. The players cannot even use the rest rooms at the stadium or even get an extra pair of kit. Yet FFP is quiet.

  7. Do people not think at all n just believe everything they hear. Dani Alves is literally referring to his departure in 2016 n the way he left so why the f r people making it like it it happened again. The only I could think is bc they don’t have anything bad to say to Barcelona n miss the leaks that Bartomeu use to give them.

  8. Look how they treated Adama. Even after sacrificing a huge salary just to play for barça. What do they do? Send him back and go after and sign a player of his same position

  9. Barcelona needs a takeover… even their players leave and at present are unhappy there. That takeover will happen in next few years. That will get them out of this "no money mess"

  10. Barcelona is no longer “Mes Que En Club” we lost our way because of bartomeu and Laporta is no different apart from his ability to get players and money by any means necessary but he’s not a honest person and uses strong arm tactics on his own players when he wants to get rid of them

  11. Bartomeu ruined this club. I'm a Madrid fan and I feel for Barca fans. They're in a lot more trouble than people think. They currently owe Goldman Sachs $1.3B. 700M from a loan in 2020 due to covid and 600M from a loan in 2022 to pay overdue wages. Even with the Spotify deal (only 280M euro over 4 years) they won't have the money to pay it back. This isn't even close to being over. Very sad what they've done to a historical club.
