What people also probably don’t know, is this was a friendly in 2010 right after the world cup. Spain won that cup, and Portugal were knocked out of the cup by Spain. Now they got a friendly rematch against Spain, (also was the best team in the world) and this amazing goal was the first of the game, but it was disallowed because Nani touched it and was ruled offside. I remember this day so vividly as a Portuguese Ronaldo fan myself
