1. To be fair, Argentina's games before the World Cup were also trash. This is not an issue specific to Copa America friendles, and it may not have as big an impact as some think.

   Not ideal, still, though.

3. Don't be silly for christ sake, you dedicate to this and complain about the rivals in friendlies, come on pals, do your homework. Friendlies NEVER MEANT A thing HISTORICALLY, apart from trying players and systems when comes to be prepared for a WC or a Copa America when these competitons are close.

   Some Examples:

   1. Argentina's only real great game prior to WC86 was a win against Israel, yeap mighty Israel got Bilardo a sense of what team he wanted to finally assemble and was one of the few games that NT played great prior to the WC and later we faced almost every greatest rival we ever had bar Brasil, go figure…
   2. Prior to 2002 we soundly beat Italy and Germany in their own soil, having Aimar playing great..yet later Aimar was a sub and we all know how that Cup ended.
   3. Prior to WC2006 Pekerman made the same mistake of odd substitutions after winning in great form agaisnt Croatia and England, ending both games loosing , of course that ""experience was great" for the WC, repeating the VERY SAME MISTAKE against Germany on their turf, go figure. (and I can add Pekerman sellection for the Confed Cup playing fecking Figueroa and others against Brazil in the Final)

   So…
   The copa America is coming very soon, all you have to do it's to have the team fit as possible and not more, the NT have been playing recently tough Eliminatories matches that are the same rivals in Copa. That "need" of testing, leave it to others, we are current WC winners.
   I still remember Spain loosing to half the planet after their WC triumph, unnecesary stuff that no one now remmebers, but that also at that time felt silly.
   After 2014 Argentina soundly beat Germany on their soil, we also beat by a high scoring margin Spain in Buenos Aires after 2010…but guess what, both of them HAD the real CUP in their pockets, let's stop with these constant need of aproval.

   After Copa America there will be dead time to play some classics, big boys, hopefully with another CUP in the bag.That's the only real period that those matches have more sense.

Chiqui Tapia has been an awful head of the AFA, the league is a disjointed mess with over 70 teams between the first 2 divisions, he picked Scaloni as coach cause he couldn't convince anyone else to take the job and he got lucky that we won everything and is now ripping off the benefits, that's why Scaloni ended up having beef with him

    I'm worried that we haven't been tested defensively, I'm sure we'll still be fine when push comes to shove, after all our preparation games before the World Cup were Jamaica, Honduras and the UAE and we won the World Cup looking like the best team at the tournament, but it's worrying the direction Tapia is taking us

11. Since Argentina won the World Cup. All they have done is piss me off . How Many victory laps are we gonna take. Time to get back to work. It took 110 percent to win both finals.
