Soccer fans in Madrid expressed outrage after Real Madrid’s Brazilian forward Vinicius Jr received racial slurs from the stands during a loss to Valencia. 1. Time of the essence !, Time to action!
Time to stand up in Spain, La Liga, Spain all organizations should be action ! All Spain should look closely all matters in society about this matters ! What a shame !!!!

  2. The people in the stands are are calling Mr. Junior "monkey"? Why? The monkeys I have seen have straight hair, pale skin, and line-thin lips. That doesn't sound like Vincius Junior at all….

  3. Well Vini try fight Spain players . Of course you going to be called slurs, you want a fight that you can’t win😂🤣 that just real life Vini, just because you are a good player, doesn’t mean you are better than anybody else to start being the aggressive player. Want a fight so you got a fight

  4. It’s as simple as not letting it be allowed! he should be allowed to play while concentrating on his game as everyone is allowed to do yet he’s allowed to being distracted and hated on.

    Why is it allowed?

  5. Sad times. Try rise above it Vini JR. Words only hurt if we let them hurt. It's a construct.

You're a supremely talented, wealthy footballer. Let the haters hate. You have won in life.

  6. So, if I'm black and I stand against racism I can get a red card, If I don't stand against racism and just keep playing, I have to get hit by objects and just keep eating the bananas thrown at me? This means two things, there are some players/coaches/owners and fans who just don't want black people to be playing soccer period. The other is ever so basic the beautiful game isn't beautiful.

  7. It is truly unfortunate.
There are many variables in this. If one understands and contextualizes the crowd psychology in football matches, one easily realizes that stopping this from happening on stadia stands is a gargantuan task. Of course, FIFA and UEFA could stamp it out by introducing point penalties to the clubs of the infractors but then you'd end with some riots and let's face, neither org is willing to do anything that affects their bottom line (tweets, stickers and allowing players to kneel is about it).
There isn't one athlete of color who hasn't been racially abused at a sports match (judging from my own experience). Football fans act like caveman because that's what they go there to do. It's like an exorcism.
Unfortunately for players of color, being a good athlete is not enough. They also need a thick skin.

  8. Everyone has the power to make a change in the world. They just haven't realized it yet. Even the smallest of things make a difference. They all add up in the coming years. The cycle of hatred must end.

  9. I find all this very hypocritical.  We Brazilians have been called monkeys for a long time.  All of Europe call Brazilians monkeys, including Argentineans too.  In the middle of the 21st century, after so many wars and conflicts, humanity has not yet understood that there is only one race, the human race.  Of course, I won't generalize.  There are still a lot of good people in the world, but a lot of ignorance too.  I'm going to tell you about a football match, in 1963, at the Argentine stadium La Bombonera.  Santos Futebol Clube, yes with Pelé, went to play with Boca.  As soon as they stepped on the lawn, they were greeted with a deplorable song: "Los macaquitos de Brasil".  This made Pele furious.  The King did the following: he won the match, silenced the crowd and returned to my dear Brazil, (by the way, multiracial).  And on top of that they call us the Third World.  Where is the "First World"?  I confess I don't know…
Racism is not normal, racism is not a joke.  Racism is a heinous crime against humanity.  It's at the UN.  Just read…

  10. Hope those racist people keep the same energy when they’re 1 on 1 with one of their victims (no body around) bet you they’ll become friendly, submissive and probably a skilled co** soccer. You all know what I mean.

  11. Too little too late. I’m boycotting La Liga. This liga has a long history of turning a blind eye to racism. They only did something now because of worldwide outcry, not because of any internal morals or ethics

  12. Hit them with millions and millions of Euros in fees and then you will see them finally taking racism seriously! Charge them with millions in criminal charges and you will see those spanish people leaning how serious racism is ! RACISM IS A CRIME and they do NOT treat it as such ! Prime Minister goes to social media saying he feels sorry for it but HE NEVER TALKED ABOUT PRESSING CHARGES AGAINST THE CRIMINALS !!! SHAME ON SPAIN !!!

  13. Spain, hands down, is the most racist country in Europe! This is not even up for debate!

This so called “response” from La Liga and political figures, is only because international eyes are looking.

Give it a week, it’ll be business as usual! 💯

  14. #istandwithviniJr, #istandforhumanity,, #istandforpeace #istandforlove. #I stand with anyone whose ever been discriminated against.
