Red Bull invited Tom Cruise to take a break from production of his new movie, Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol, to pilot the Red Bull Racing F1 car through Southern California’s 2.5-mile (4km) Willow Springs circuit. He reached a top speed of 181 mph (291 km/h) – just 4 mph off the top speed of his instructor and 13-time Grand Prix winner, David Coulthard.

I wonder how Tom would have reacted if there had been 3 or 4 or maybe 5 or 6 other top pro drivers with their cars on the track giving Tom a challenge with about 10 maybe 20 or so max of 35 laps for some fun for Tom & the other drivers. Maybe this could done. I very much doubt that Tom would not refuse it. His reply would be BRING IT ON!!!! ?????? I do hope this can be done & either posted on YouTube ( MOST DEFFO!!!) & Also put on to UK & US terrestial TV NOT ? sky The full thing from prep to race & see how he performs against the pro's I am very , very sure millions of millions of people would ❤??? to watch that i certainly WOULD!!!! ???
