We went back in the vault and tracked down some of the silliest red cards we could remember. Between Josh Saunders elbowing Stephen Lenhart, Eric Hassli taking of his jersey to reveal yet another jersey underneath it, Joe Nasco tackling Alan Gordon, Ramiro Corrales flipping Amado Guevara with a towel, Mike Petke’s infamous ball kiss, Matias Perez Garcia taking off his jersey when he was already on a yellow card, and Marcus Hahnemann being sent off from the bench, there were some hilarious red cards in MLS history.

Most of them were not ridiculous and were second bookable offenses.
You might want to learn soccer the very first 3 we're Red cards and I'm sure the rest will be as well.
ridículas? si, pero todas las tarjetas bien puestas, bien por los árbitros.
muchos en los comentarios parecen creer que el video trata sobre decisiones erradas de los árbitros, claramente no entienden muy bien las reglas del futbol…
Meh, the whole MLS is ridiculous
yall clearly dont understand the premise of this video. its "player is dumb for making the foul" not "ref is dumb for calling it"
im surprised this didnt go for an hour
2:00 that's gotta be the worst flop I have ever seen
Worst ref Ive ever seen, Guido Gonzalez Jr, FC Cincy back in 2017 USL days, ridiculous yellows and just had 0 control of the match
38 seconds teh guy has a shirt
El ultimo pendejo festejo su pinche gol como si fuera de final de copa del mundo jajajja que maña de quitarse la camiseta si ya saben que es de tarjeta.
most of those were justified
I want to replay the full match where can I find it
It wasn't most ridiculous but most FUNNY ?
Dear MLS…every Red card is right.
I want to become refree coz can give player red card and spoil their mood.?
America is not the place for football. Your feet are only suitable for grazing buffaloes
How does he get a red card for taking of his first shirt but not his second that’s ridiculous
There is an idiot in every profession, so the profession of a football referee is no exception.
Beim ersten hätte das von dem Spieler auch geahndet werden müssen.
Hasslis jellow red is very right…He got a yellow card before..to take off the Trikot shirt is unsporty…and a yellow card..so yellow red
Lets not forget Romero in Corea World Cup
Bolsonaro precisaria de um juiz assim, para colocar ordens na casa.
I've said it once I have said it 10,000 times. Taking your shirt off during a celebration being a yellow card is the most "No Fun League" move in soccer. Just the stupidest infraction. They scored a goal. If they take 5 minutes to celebrate yeah time wasting extreme. But a short Cele and yellow just for that is so stupid. Can't take league's seriously when they do that crap. Juvenile.
None of these is ridiculously bad, some harsh like last yellow for kissing the ball but nowhere near what constitutes a ridiculous decision.
I mean its the MLS… what can you expect haha, besides this refs are hired on with no experience, a complete circus.
Mls é muito bom
Leafree crazy.
And officiating like this, ladies and gentlemen, is why MSL is a joke.
Shitty league.
Soccer players are the dumbest.
They all know that if you take your shirt off you will get a yellow card, and they still do it. Then they play it stupid questioning the refs decision.
0:59 the blue shirt guy thought he got red card wtf???
I don't know what I expected from an American coverage of football, but two of these are second yellow cards for taking your shirt off (perfectly within the rules, not ridiculous), one is a second yellow for dissent (again not ridiculous, what's ridiculous is how much refs will let famous players/teams get away with), one was two bookable offences (both sensible) in very close proximity to each other, and one was a red card for violent conduct (even if the victim over-reacted, it was still unacceptable. This is football, not hockey.)
More the video editor not understanding the game then "ridiculous", it looks like.
All these follow the laws. The refs are like the police, they only enforce the laws. This means there is a problem with the rules and not the refs.
They all seem reasonable.
Most red cards here are not ridiculous at all.
I hope rediculous is used as in astonishing from both parties and not as crappy refereeing cause half of these were justified
