THE COMPLETE CONCACAF OCTOBER WINDOW RECAP

CONCACAF OCTOBER RECAP

The lads from DeadBall TV are breaking down everything that happened in CONCACAF during the October international window. We saw the USMNT & Mexico play friendlies against Germany & Ghana with slightly differing results. The CanMNT finally had another game in which they were soundly beaten by Japan. And all hell broke loose in the CONCACAF Nations League group stage, leaving both some exciting and extremely boring quarterfinal fixtures.

  1. Heres my thing with the US, they put together 90 minutes of really good soccer, and 90 of mediocre to bad. They could've very easily scored 2 or 3 against Germany, and 7 or 8 against Gahna when Adams gets back and healthy to help out on defense i think they can compete with a team like Germany. Maybe not win but be more competitive than 3-1

  2. Can’t trust a man with a Mexico 🇲🇽 jersey at the moment because their judgement is blinded. Don’t worry I’m Mexican, so don’t take my comment lightly!!!!!! Mexico is garbage 🗑️ at the moment.

  3. Bravo Mexico for gaining a draw to Germany. But damn the Mexicans exposed Germany's crisis to this point, damn. I expect Mexico to be defeated and yet they drew Germany, demonstrating that Mexico is now coming back to forms.

USMNT is basically… old story. Except beating Ghana 4-0, the USA was completely exposed by a German side in crisis. As long as Berhalter still in charge the USMNT will learn nothing.

  4. One outrageous take I’ve seen, was that Cesar Hernandez from the Mexican Soccer Show and ESPN gave Arteaga a 5/10 but gave Jorge Sánchez a 8/10 this window.
