The full-length documentary following Shaun Lane’s journey of discovery and reflection on the other side of the world. He reveals untold stories about his personal life and mental health battles, while taking in the sights and culture of Europe.
The trip came after Lane suffered a broken jaw, torn hamstring, and dislocated elbow in the space of six months.
Along the way, Lane meets with Socceroos captain Mat Ryan, Darts champions Michael Smith and Damon Heta, and several renowned mental health experts.
During his travels, he pays visits to the Rugby World Cup, Crystal Palace Football Club, the World Grand Prix, and more.

“After a disappointing 2023 season with plenty of setbacks, I was left unsatisfied and hungry to improve.
I decided to plan a trip that would better prepare myself for the mental challenges of footy.
The trip would immerse me into the high-performance world of European sports. I would speak to world-renowned sports psychologists and athletes, attend different sporting events, and tour facilities to learn what it takes to gain the mental edge.
My media team would follow me to record any valuable lessons with the goals of improving myself as a player, a teammate, and a person.
I hope that this footage may provide some lessons to anyone else who may see it.”
