Xavi Hernandez, full name Xavier Hernández Creus, is a Spanish former football player. He was born on January 25, 1980 in Terrassa, Spain. He started his career in FC Barcelona’s youth team and later played in the club’s A team for many years. Known as a midfielder, Xavi is known for his excellent ball control, passing ability and vision of the game. He achieved many national and international successes with FC Barcelona. Xavi also achieved many important successes with the Spanish National Team and won the 2010 FIFA World Cup and the 2008 and 2012 European Championships. In the later stages of his career, he played for Qatar’s Al Sadd club and later served as a coach at the club. Xavi is a name known in the football world for his technical knowledge and leadership qualities.
