His technique, vision, and ability to play passes through the lines makes us dangerous from any position on the pitch. If he continues playing like this, I can see Tyler Adams dropping to a role player only in very specific situations.

This might be a hot take but I don't think Japan has a better youth soccer development than the USA. Yes, the youth tournaments don't matter much but we can use them to see how good county soccer development is. The USA did win against Japan U23 4-1 last year. Japan U23 was very solid they were not trash. Japan also has older players than the USA.
