Sadly, unlike the men's, women's Asian Cup is still a thing reserved only for China, Japan, South Korea and Australia, as well as North Korea (even though North Korea has failed to take part in various tournaments since 2014 due to political issues) – which forms Asian women's football Big Five (as opposed to Asian men's Big Five). This is because China, Japan, South Korea and Australia have more money, funds and financial muscles to build their women's football power; while North Korea considered women's football a kind of state priority and the Kim regime has invested millions for the team.

    Although I was glad that China won though. I'd rather expect other nations like Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, India, Uzbekistan, Taiwan (Chinese Taipei) and Myanmar to invest more in this prospect, since they have the closest opportunities to compete more in World Cup. I have seen regression in Thailand following the 0-13 loss to the United States back in 2019, so I hope Vietnam and the Philippines (upcoming 2023 debutants) to realise they must not allow themselves to suffer. Only then, we can see a more competitive Women's Asian Cup, like how the Europeans, Africans and Latin Americans are building recently.

  9. I am a Korean and it is very interesting that only very few (around me) still knows that our national woman football team advanced to the final of W-Asian Cup 2022. We have to get a lot more interests and support to our women team.

  44. 水庆霞老女国足，比较了解女足的情况，解决内部问题可能比较有经验和办法。只是她本人防守队员出身，在战术上难免不延续贾秀全的招法坚持防守为主，前者让过去几年女足的整体打法过于刻板和混乱，位置重叠甚至造成防守队员连动作都经常变形。这一笨招在预选赛阶段似乎无可厚非，可是在决赛阶段就会常常陷入被动，东京奥运会女足的表现似乎印证了这一点。还是要强调中超的张力，增加后防线的弹性，这样的话后卫的头脑比较清晰，中场一活跃，加上王珊珊王爽的组合还是有些看头的。（老球迷的个人之言不要信以为真）
