Why demolish?
Personally I think it’s a bad move. Gifting the town with a brand new stadium who’s local fans rioted after losing a match to a visiting rival still leaves a bad taste specially to the victims families. They should just demolish the original one and disband their local team as punishment. Build the new stadium in another town.

I live near the stadium. The stadium is old. It is okay to demolish that.

Pity what a waste of resource to build one stadium is not cheap and time consuming when it was a human error not the facality plus it also took another resource to demolish it too making it to rebuild one again would cost another goverment money however it is not my decision to make as i comment in this section
