6. Netherlands is a great football nation and I believe they deserve a World Cup. However, contrary to what is implied on this video, they lost those 3 finals fair and square.
   In 1974 they played Brazil after Argentina, the match mentioned in the video after which the german press supposedly released that news, and they won in a pretty dominant fashion. Had they been affected by the news, they would have shown it in that match, not in the final against Germany.
   Regarding 1978, Argentina was just better. I´ve seen the match many times and Argentina deserved to win it during the ´90, even though they had to play extra time. Blaming the crowd for the dutch performance is just an excuse. There are plenty of examples in the history of teams that managed to win in front of hostile crowds, like Uruguay in 1950. In that case, there were 200.000 Brazilian fans cheering for their team, who only needed a draw to be world champion, but Uruguay put up with it and won.
   Finally, in 2010 Robben had a great chance to win the game and missed it. On the other hand, Spain managed to score the only one they had. Sometimes football is as simple as that

15. So many finals and semi-finals lost by the Netherlands. This country had among the best teams for decades and won 'only' the Euros 1988. And then you hear Belgians that have a good team for less than 10 years and never reached any finals claiming that they 'deserve' a trophy.. If one country deserves more than what it has, it's the Netherlands.
