Cameroon: The Indomitable Lions | Italy 1990 | FIFA World Cup

The 1990 FIFA World Cup has many lasting memories – the brilliance of Roberto Baggio, the tears of Paul Gascoigne and the wide-eyed celebrations of adidas Golden Boot winner Toto Schillaci.

But perhaps one of the most memorable is the image of Roger Milla dancing by the corner flag and the unexpected story of the Indomitable Lions from Cameroon. This is their underdog story.

  3. Wow, it's a miracle, that you didn't say any word about their coach, and you cut this vid without any picture of him.
One of the main reasons of this great perfomance of cameroon team, was young coach from USSR Valery Nepomnyashchy

  4. THIS is what make football/soccer the beautiful game… EVERYONE can have their chance of glory, not only the the rich and powerfull.. fu.. modern football..!!!

  5. I lived in Cameroon back in 1990. I was a 12 years old frenck kid and It was the first time I saw a football world cup. The Indomitable lions were the greatest team in this world cup. We watched them play during school, and until now, they are still my favourite team. the defeat against England was unfair^^

  6. ( en el 1960 , " Santos F. C. " , al culminar la gira africana…..)

    Y en los, " Italia – " 90 ", CAMERUN , de llegar a -La final , muy probable, seria campeon ,…!

  7. I love them, win or lose I hope they don't give up their enthusiasm for football and continue to play their own game, 100% better than the boring European overpaid rubbish teams we are stuck with now yaaaaaaawn
